HALL EFFECT TRANSFORMER
In critical power distribution and measurement systems, traditional current transformers often struggle with saturation, distortion, inaccurate readings, and thermal stress, leading to mis-reported energy data, protection malfunctions, and compromised system reliability — issues that can drive up maintenance costs and weaken operational confidence. The Hall Effect Transformer by Intelux solves these challenges with advanced non-invasive Hall effect sensing technology engineered for accurate, linear current measurement, even in demanding electrical environments. Designed for energy monitoring, power quality analysis, smart metering applications, and protection systems in commercial and industrial facilities, this commercial-grade Hall effect transformer delivers wide dynamic range accuracy, minimal phase shift, temperature stability, and reliable signal integrity — making it a dependable choice for facility managers, electrical consultants, and EPC decision makers focused on precision power measurement, enhanced safety, and long-term infrastructure performance.
Construction Details:
The Hall Effect Transformer comprises a magnetic core with a Hall sensor placed in the air gap. It detects the magnetic field generated by the primary current and outputs a proportional electrical signal. The module is built in a rugged plastic or metal enclosure with terminal connectors, signal conditioning circuitry, and optional calibration trimmers.
Benefits:
- AC & DC Measurement: Monitors both unidirectional and bidirectional currents
- Excellent Electrical Isolation: Protects control circuits from high voltage systems
- Compact & Versatile: Ideal for embedded or standalone energy monitoring
- Fast Response: Suitable for dynamic current analysis and transient detection
- Robust and Maintenance-Free: Solid-state, non-contact sensing with long service life
